ST. JOSEPH ORTHODOX CHURCH
RUMMAGE AND BAKE SALE
SATURDAY JULY 12TH 9AM-3PM

Our first one had such a great success that we decided to have it again on Saturday July 12th - Rain or Shine in the Church's Social Hall. Let's make it better than our first one! We are again looking for donations of items that are in good, working condition. "One man's trash is another one's treasure." Any items you wish to get rid of that we can sell at the Rummage sale…Such as, kitchen items, DVDs, figurines, tools, electronics, furniture, household goods, toys.

Also, we would LOVE to have your baked goods. They sold really well, and we would like to have even more this time! Please come out and support your church in this endeavor. We could use your help Friday evening (5-8) before the sale and at any time during the sale.

All events will be usually listed on this page, announced in the Church and advertised via standard mail to all parishioners. These events have a "fund-raiser" character thus we encourage your participation since all donations are to supporting the Church.

The amount of your donation is entirely up to you unless there is a special participation of a romanian band, singer or actor,but please keep in mind that you are actually helping the church by participating to these events.

It was decided in one of the Parish Council meetings that participation to these events should be with free will donations and not with a fixed amount. Thus everybody may donate according to their heart and possibilities. In some cases there may be a suggested minimum donation.Of course, all donations are tax-deductible.

If you receive an invitation to one of these events and plan to participate please call 570-454-7224 and leave a confirmation message with your name and number of persons participating. It will help us tremenduously in organizing that event. Also, if you do receive an invitation and are unable to come, please consider your donation to the church anyway - it is for a noble purpose and we will pray for you.
